Watch The Throne - Review

Watch the Throne has officially been released to the world, and its another great album. I was fortunate to get a early digital copy of the album, so I listened front to back, and on shuffle, just to make sure I could appreciate each song individually. I think the album is a classic Jay-Z style album as far as song selection is concerned infused with great Kanye beats. The lyrics are also dope because each rapper expresses their wealthy lifestyle and personal life issues with great metaphors, mixing current slangs with exclusive name drops normally known only to the rich & famous. But they both have a way of making you feel whatever tax bracket you fall under, you are a baller just like them. Go support and join the Throne.

2 Pac Back!!!

Rozay is back at it again with a more solid team, Meek Mill & Wale, because we all know Ross's homeboy Gunplay is a trash rapper.  The marketing plan MMG came up with is genius by releasing the video to their hit single Tupac Back the same day as the late great rappers would be 40th birthday.  The Self Made crew isn't the only ones in the spotlight in relation to Pac, according to Billboard.biz a incarcerated associate of Jimmy Henchmen has confessed to the 1994 Quad Studio's shooting. Dexter Isaac told authorities “Now I would like to clear up a few things, because the statute of limitations is over, and no one can be charged, and I'm just plain tired of listening to your lies," he went on to claiming he was paid $2,500 and kept jewelry stolen from Shakur during the shooting.  If this story is true then this would be huge to the Hip Hop world, but we all know that convicts can't be trusted.  Through all the lies and cover ups, I don't think we will ever know the truth, all we can do is let 2 Pac rest in peace and enjoy his influence on our beloved Hip Hop Culture.

I know when you are coming up in the world you gotta pay dues, show respect, and stay in your lane, especially to the people above you that you respect and look up to. But when those same people are your main competition paying homage can easily turn to bitin' (ask nikki minaj & lil kim). But Jason Derulo missed that meeting and straight jacked Kanye West for his 'All of the Lights' video concept on his new song 'Don't wanna go home'. Kanye's video is a really dope video and concept, which probably has been done before, but for the kid to swagger jack in the same summer is just crazy. C'mon Son(ed lover voice) #FOH!!!

This is why you DON'T pass out with your shoes on around drunk people!
